Watermelon Seed Order Form for 2008 Planting Season

Carolina Cross Seeds

The Carolina Cross seeds below are from three variations. Each variation is offered from at least one extra large watermelon as well as from younger small watermelons from identified rows. All were planted from good genetic stock. Some growers like to grow from the largest melons available. The advantage of the younger small melons is germination. Seeds from the younger watermelons tend to germinate better. The 268 and 246 variations are wide and consistently grow to be the largest. The 229 variation is consistently long, slender, blocky at both ends, and good for slicing. Growing instructions accompany seed orders for Carolina Cross seeds. The instructions are worth following.
